Waarom bestaat afval, als het zoveel waarde heeft? Voel jij je geroepen om te laten zien wat de echte waarde is van kledingoverschotten? Wil je de KlereHoop verkleinen en de keten verduurzamen door uit te pluizen welke mogelijkheden bestaan én daarmee aan de gang te gaan? Dan is dit wat voor jou!

Wie is Je Moeder? Je Moeder is een eigenzinnig activistisch kledingmerk. Ze pakt de kledingindustrie aan door welvaartsresten mens- en milieuvriendelijk te pimpen en te kiezen voor natuurlijke en eerlijke materialen. Ze verspreidt de groene boodschap terwijl ze een alternatief biedt voor fast-fashion. Ook komt ze in actie om haar positieve impact te vergroten door middel van creatieve klimaatacties.
Dat is hard nodig, die circle of life moet weer rond!

Wat ga je doen? (2-4dagen per week)

– Onderzoek in (post-consumer) textielketen
– Vormgeving en experimentatie met kledingoverschotten
– Benaderen en onderhouden Collaborators(ontwerpers, upcyclers, recyclers)
– Ontwikkelen business-modellen circulaire kleding
– Documentatie & Content creëeren geschikt voor campagne
Bonus:
– Meedenken actie-strategiën voor verandering kledingindustrie
– Meedraaien in onderneming

Jouw eigenschappen: kennis van textielketen en duurzame&fairtrade mode HBOniveau. kritisch en nieuwsgierige blik, creatief, ruimdenkend, enthousiasmerend.

INTERNSHIP / TRAINEE WANTED
Volunteer / Intern at Je Moeder – part-time/fulltime (2-4 days a week, immediately)

Why does waste exist when it is so valuable? Do you want to show the true value of clothing surpluses? Do you want to reduce the size of the pile of (fast) fashion waste and make the chain more sustainable by discovering and working with alternative options? Then this internship is suits  you perfectly!

Who is Your Mother? Your Mother is a quirky activistic clothing brand. She tackles the clothing industry by pimping the leftovers of our fashion consumption in a people and environment friendly way, by choosing natural and fair materials. She spreads the green message while offering an alternative to fast fashion. She also takes direct  action to increase her positive impact through creative climate actions. It’s absolutely necessary that we complete the circle of life!

Let’s Re-fuse Re-duce Re-use Re-purpose Re-pair Re-shape Re-design Re-cycle Re-generate Re-volt! As local and people & environmentally friendly as possible of course.

What are you going to do? (2-4 days a week)
– Research in the (post-consumer) textile chain
– Design and experimentation with clothing surpluses
– Approach and maintain Collaborators (designers, upcyclers, recyclers)
– Develop business models for circular clothing
– Create documentation & content suitable for campaign
Bonus:
– Thinking about action strategies for changing the clothing industry
– Participate in a company

Your characteristics: knowledge of the textile chain and sustainable & fair trade fashion HBO level. critical and curious look, creative, open-minded, enthusiastic.
